So many things about this Horseshoe Bay Resort Wedding were just simply STUNNING!! I couldn’t even justify complaining about the 90+ degree October weather because the sunshine was just so gorgeous! And this venue is simply a dream. It seriously feels like I stepped into some sort of paradise, not like I was in the middle of Central Texas! Palm trees, a beautiful lake, beach and lawns made Feng and Cici’s one of my favorite wedding locations yet!

Feng and Cici are originally from China and had so much fun tying Chinese wedding traditions into their American wedding. My favorite one was the butterfly release during the ceremony. That’s right — a BUTTERFLY RELEASE! Each guest received a tiny paper envelope before the start of their ceremony on Lily Lawn and after the vows were exchanged everyone release the butterflies at once. It was so pretty! It made me wish that this was also an American tradition!

After a sweet First Look, a beautiful ceremony and fun wedding party and bride and groom portraits, we headed down to the dock area to join the guests at an outdoor cocktail hour and reception. The weather at that point couldn’t have been more perfect! I love being outside in general, but I really loved being out in the warm (but not too warm) almost summer-feeling weather by the water for their reception!

This goes without saying once you start looking through the photos, but Flora Fetish did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job with all of the floral decorations! Everywhere I looked there was another beautiful floral piece filled with peonies, hydrangeas, roses and eucalyptus. (Imagine the heart-eyed emoji here!) After a day  run seamlessly by Rebecca and the Eclipse Event Co. team, Feng and Cici had sparkler exit on the lawn and then left the reception by boat at the pier.
