YOU GUYS! This Spicewood Vineyards wedding was SO FUN!! Adam, the Groom, is one of my good friends from college, so it was like a small reunion and an absolute blast! I’ve loved becoming friends with Avery over this year, and they are just perfect together. Any one of you that have met them knows that!
And photographing weddings for friends is just the absolute best. Everyone thinks I’m working all day, but really I’m just getting to hang out with my friends on one of the most important days of their lives and laugh and celebrate and take photos! And I think it’s even better than being a guest or in the wedding because I get to see all the little moments no one else does… ya, it’s pretty great! And in Adam’s words, “Ang! How crazy is it that we are paying you to come to our wedding?!” Pretty crazy! Haha I feel like that at most weddings because I love my job so much, but it especially applies to this one!
I’ve never been out to Spicewood Vineyards before, but it is easily a new favorite venue! Avery’s grandparents owned the vineyard when she was little, so she got to twirl around in her wedding dress in the same place she used to run around and play as a little girl. How fun is that?!
The weather was kind of dreary on Saturday, but the grounds and vineyard are so pretty that it didn’t even matter! Avery has such classy taste and her Hayley Paige wedding dress was amazing — and then she put it on and she was absolutely STUNNING!
I wish I could explain to you all just how fun this wedding was, but I’ll just let the photos do some of it for me…

It was cold, almost dark and starting to mist, but we took photos in the vineyard anyway! 🙂
