If you’ve been following along with me for much of anytime at all, then you know well my love for The Addison Grove! So you can only imagine my excitement when Beau and Cindy told me that they were not only getting married there next spring, but they wanted to take their engagement photos on the Addison Grove grounds as well!

The weather this spring in Texas has been a bit unpredictable, and the day we had their engagement photos scheduled was showing a high chance of rain early in the week. Since Beau & Cindy were coming from Houston and already had other wedding planning business in town, we decided to just wait it out and see what happened. To be honest, with the weather forecast, our “best case scenario” was simply “NO RAIN.” But to our surprise we pulled into The Addison Grove drive and there was SUNSHINE!

Photographing sweet and fun couples like Beau and Cindy remind me just how blessed I am to call this my “job” and get to do what I do for a living. Work like mine and clients like these two are such a gift! After starting the session on the grounds by the pond, we finished up with portraits in front of the pretty Addison Grove barn and ended the evening with a bottle of wine at sunset. (Like I said, this is my job?!)
