Hi friends!

I am so excited to be finally announcing this to you guys! I’ve been working behind-the-scenes for the past 6 months or more on creating a fresh, new look for my photography business. This has been a long time coming and it’s finally here! So let me just tell you a little bit about it:

Let’s start with my name: Angela Lally Photography

My full name is Angela Lally Rushing, and I’m named after both of my great grandma’s on my mom’s side. Angela came from my great-grandma, Angeline, and Lally is my great-grandma Bridgette’s Irish maiden name. I really love it because it’s so classy and unique!
I’ve always gone by Angie (or Ang), but after a conversation with some cross-country photographer friends last fall, I realized that my full first and middle names, Angela Lally, actually fit better with the brand and direction my business was headed than Angie L Photography. I shot my first wedding a little over a three years ago, and since then my business, work and personality of my brand has grown so much, and I realized that Angela Lally just better fit the classy, sophisticated direction I saw my brand going.

New Logo + Branding

My new logo and brand was designed and created by Doodle Dog Creative and I love it!! I was hoping to include my initials somehow, but without it looking like the name “Al”, and Nikki at Doodle Dog nailed it with the capital A and script L! (Real story: One of my former bosses in college nicknamed me “Big Al” because my email address was alrushing@… He thought it was hilarious! Especially since I “wasn’t big.”)
Also, I could stare at these colors all day. I’ve always loved a good cool, soft blue & warm metallic gold combination! Here are a few images of my new stationary and business cards cards:

I use ShowIt5 and it is AMAZING!!! If you are a creative – go check it out right now! My old site was ShowIt5 as well, but I just have to take a minute to again say how great it is! Two words people: DRAG & DROP. Literally – everything. It is so easy to design and customize! And you can easily customize your WordPress blog. Using this platform for my website and blog has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my business. And their support team is top notch!
