Lesley’s Barr Mansion bridal portraits are some of my favorites yet. And I had SO much fun with her and her mom during the session! Lesley is, first of all, absolutely stunning, and second so full of life and laughter!

I was so excited to finally meet her in-person because I had been emailing with her for over a year all the way in Australia! Lesley has family in Sydney and moved there a few years after college for an adventure, where she met her now husband, Dave. Over the years she’s picked up a bit of an Aussie accent and it’s so fun to hear her talk!

Her wedding dress is also one of my favorites because was able to pull off two different looks — it was so pretty! She told me the story of how she couldn’t decide if she wanted a fuller skirt or a more fitted dress, so she found one that could do both, and brought it on the plane with her all the way from Australia!

The weather this day couldn’t have been more perfect. The Barr Mansion makes for a stunning portrait location regardless, but even more on sunny days like this one.
