These Belton engagement photos of Hunter and Sheridan were SO MUCH FUN! We laughed pretty much the whole time – how can you not around these two?! Hunter and I are good friends from college and I was so excited when I got to meet Sheridan, who quickly became a friend as well. They are such a perfect fit for each other, and after their engagement session I was even more excited for their wedding in Austin this June!
I actually got to photograph her sister, Avery’s wedding this past December, who married another one of our college friends, Adam. Photographing friends’ engagements, weddings and life in general is just about one of my favorite things! Goodness, it just makes me so happy. 🙂
[Side note and shameless plug: If you’re a country music fan, you should check out Hunter, Adam and our other friend, John Allen’s band: Hunter Rea Band. They are so good and are getting ready to release a new album! #proudfriend]
But back to Hunter & Sheridan’s engagement session: We started off taking photos around Downtown Belton, which has so many pretty historic buildings. After that we drove out to Lake Belton and took some more photos out in the field by the dam. It was a little chilly, but the prettiest golden hour sunlight definitely made it worth it! And the sunset at the end!! Ah – so pretty. You’ll have to scroll all the way to the end to see it!
Hunter and Sheridan: I seriously couldn’t be more happy or excited for you two! June 24th couldn’t come soon enough!!
I’d like to say we all nailed this shot on the first try…Â but that definitely wasn’t the case! Haha
A little two-steppin’ in the field…
And this pretty sky…
