I shared Mackenzie’s Bridal Portraits last week, and I’m so excited to be sharing some of my favorites of hers and Chris’ Canyonwood Ridge wedding photos this week! Mackenzie has such classic taste, which was obvious from her Hayley Paige wedding gown, but even more obvious when I started photographing her details. I love marble, gold, navy and blush, and apparently she does too! I’m all about the marble and gold combination these days (just come visit my office!) and was so impressed to see it how Sweet Treets incorporated it into her cake! Yes – that’s right: A marble and gold wedding cake. Seriously, one of the prettiest wedding cakes I’ve ever seen! Add in some flowers from Whim Floral, and it was even more stunning.

Wedding days out at Canyonwood Ridge are always some of my favorites because not only is the venue and grounds absolutely gorgeous, but the staff is INCREDIBLE! (Shout out to Amanda and Stephanie for all your hard work putting this day together!!) With a Texas August wedding date, Chris and Mackenzie opted to have their wedding ceremony in the chapel, and it was so pretty. There was chance for thunderstorms earlier in the week, but they dissipated and we had the prettiest sunshine for wedding party and bride and groom portraits!

After a short and sweet ceremony conducted by Mackenzie’s grandfather, family and friends celebrated and danced all evening with these two and my favorite wedding band to-date: All Hat No Cadillac. These guys are an Austin Country Cover Band and are SO MUCH FUN! (And so talented!) If you like country music and two-stepping, this is the band. They covered all sorts of country favorites including George Strait, Allan Jackson, Tim McGraw and even Shania Twain and kept the dance floor packed with people dancing all night! (Including me, my second photographer, Ashley, and my friend, Lauren with ML Photo & Film!)
