I have been excited for Zach and Cheryl’s wedding since first meeting them! They are one of the most genuine and joyful couples I know – and it shows in EVERY aspect of their lives! And I don’t think I’ve ever seen these two around each other NOT smiling!

About 10 minutes into their engagement session last fall, I felt like we were already friends, and it made me even more excited for their wedding day! And since awesome couples have awesome friends, let me tell you, this wedding party was AMAZING! What could have been a hectic day moving between 4 different locations (that’s right FOUR locations) was actually such a breeze! With lots of moving parts and lots of people, it is easy for things to get a bit crazy or to fall behind, but that was not the case at all with this group. They were so fun and such troopers in this Texas June heat! We finsihed up all the wedding party photos exactly on time – to the minute, and I might have done a little happy dance on the inside! (Okay, okay, probably more like it actually happened on the outside!)

After loading everyone back up on the shuttle, we headed over to First United Methodist Church in Downtown Austin for one of the sweetest wedding ceremonies I’ve seen yet. Zach recently completed divinity school and is an now a Reverend, so as a couple, Zach and Cheryl shared communion with all of their guests. It was such a sweet display of their love for the Lord, the church and of what marriage represents.

Zach and Cheryl had already done a First Look (another one of my favorite moments of the day!) so, once the wedding ceremony was over, we I got to spend even more time taking portraits outside of the church. I don’t normally photograph in Downtown Austin, but these photos made me a huge fan of the white stairs and backdrop of the church! I love a clean backdrop and pretty light! After a few minutes taking photos (and a few more congratulatory honks from cars passing by!) we headed over to The Austin Club for a fun evening filled with dancing, laughter and a slo-mo booth! (And yes, my second shooter, Ashley and I DEFINITELY hopped in there!)
