You know those couples that make you happy just from being around them? Well, Justin and Lisa are most definitely one of those couples! I’m a BIG FAN of these two!!

Lisa and I met my freshman year of college at UMHB when she was a junior. She is such a caring and genuine person, and when I heard she was engaged, I knew that Justin would be just as great! After about two minutes of seeing them together, I knew they were a perfect match! I love how they look at each other, and how Lisa could not stop smiling and laughing during their session! (And I’m pretty sure I was smiling behind my camera the whole time too.)

I was so excited and honored when Lisa asked me to be their wedding photographer, and even MORE honored when she asked me what September dates I still had available so she could keep that in mind when booking their venue!! I was already excited for their Houston wedding at Big Sky Barn this fall, and their engagement session only made me more so!

We started their session around the Georgetown Square and courthouse, and then went out to Berry Springs Park. This park is one of my all-time favorite places (in general, and for portrait sessions), and it is pretty year-round. I even stumbled upon a few bluebonnets and, of course, snapped a few photos of Lisa’s engagement ring on one. I had been keeping an eye on the weather all week and was so happy that Saturday turned out (for the most part) to be nice and sunny!
