Adam and Liz’s lakeside engagement photos were so fun and sweet for SO MANY reasons! Liz first contacted me early last fall about shooting her wedding at The Addison Grove in the spring of 2019. When I read her initial inquiry, I found out that her fiance´and I actually went to both middle school and high school together – small world! Liz and I immediately connected and I felt like we were instant friends. We kept in touch and were both looking forward to later this year when Adam would be back from his deployment so they could take engagement photos. Well… he got an unexpected week back at home and was able to surprise Liz with time together AND officially give her her engagement ring (which is one of the prettiest ones I’ve ever seen!).

Liz emailed me updating me and asked if there was any way we could squeeze in an engagement session in the next few days before he left, and luckily I had an evening spot open up last minute! There was some 15-20mph wind gusts during their session, but these two handled it like pros. I could tell immediately that Adam & Liz were meant for each other — you’ll quickly see it in their smiles! Now after their engagement session, I really can’t wait for their wedding at The Addison Grove next March!
