I am so excited to share these photos from Kim and Colby’s engagment session in Marble Falls this past weekend! We initially met over FaceTime after mutual friends of ours whose wedding I shot back in July referred me to them (thanks Robert and Amanda!). The first time I actually met them in person was at their engagment session and it felt like we were instant friends.
Kim and Colby met shortly after she moved to Fort Worth to work with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at TCU. She was on the hunt for a bike to ride to campus and was asking around if anyone knew anything about bikes. The response she kept getting from everyone was “You HAVE to meet Colby!” So they were introduced and their friendship started by hitting up all of the used bike shops in Denton. Their friendship continued and about 8 months later, they started dating. So it was perfectly fitting that they showed up for their engagement session with a bicycle built for two in the back of their truck!
I absolutely loved getting to hang out with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding in December!
Photographers – you know when you see the perfect location and just HAVE to take a photo? That is exactly what happened here. We were walking to another location and I stopped mid-sentence, turned to Kim and Colby and said, “Hey guys, I really think we should take some photos on that bench,” and I’m so glad we did!
Knowing how they met makes these bike photos so much cuter!
Their smiles here – it’s just the best!
Kim’s grandma made this quilt AND it matched their outfits.
These two photos are some of my favorites!
Congratulations, you two!!
