The story of how I know Bryan + Summer is one of my favorite ones yet! Bryan was a groomsman in Will + Peri’s wedding I photographed at The Wildflower Center last June. I met Peri when she was a bridesmaid in Bo + Adrian’s San Antonio wedding 2 years ago, and Will actually came and parked my car for me when I showed up to the reception space and couldn’t find a spot! Adrien was recommended to me by her brother, who knew my brother (aka: my biggest fan!) in college. Whew – did you follow all of that?! One of these days I just need to draw a big diagram that connects so many of my friends + family + couples. But isn’t that fun?!  I LOVE getting to photograph weddings in friend groups because each wedding feels like a mini reunion!

Bryan and Summer both work at universities and live out-of-state, so we were able to squeeze in their McKinney Falls engagement photos while they were in town during spring break. We had some unexpected overcast and pretty consistent wind, but they were such troopers! I loved witnessing how genuinely happy they are together and it made me even more excited for their wedding at The Addison Grove this June!
