We could not have had a prettier day for Alex and Savannah’s Milestone Aubrey wedding! And it was such GIFT because the prettiest sunshine and warmer temps were definitely not what was forecasted the day before. But the chilly winds subsided, the sun came out and we had a warmer 60-something degree April day – and it was PERFECT!
Alex and Savannah are just the sweetest couple. I remember first talking with Savannah last year while she and Alex were getting settled up in Tulsa and discussing wedding plans, colors, and all the things, and not only is Savannah so kind, but she has such classy taste! Y’all know I love a good powder blue, white and green wedding palette, and Alex and Savannah’s day fit that to a T! If you follow along with me, then you also know I LOVE dogs, and Alex and Savannah’s sweet Bernedoodles, Nalah and Santo joined for the entire wedding day! These two pups were so well behaved and so proud to be standing alongside the other wedding party members – both during photos and during the ceremony!
After a sweet ceremony ending with singing “Our God is Greater” with all of the guest, family and friends, we joined everyone to kick off the reception after family photos. Alex and Savannah placed a lot of value on walking away from their wedding day with a lot of portraits together (aka: DREAM COUPLE!), so we snuck out of the reception for a few minutes for some sunset portraits, which was my favorite part of the day! I just love when couples do this. 10-15 minutes away from the reception while guests are dancing or eating to get a few more sweet images together will always be worth it – keep scrolling to see my case in point!
