I was so excited that we were finally able to get an engagement session in for Keegan and Julie! Between her nursing schedule, Keegan currently living in Arkansas, and all the rain in Texas this spring, it’s been a little crazy! But we made an early Sunday morning session in Dallas work and it was so much fun! These two woke up before 6AM to be at Prather Park right after sunrise and were so great about it! 🙂 They are such a fun couple and I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding in Chicago this August!

I’m not super familiar with Dallas, and to be honest, all of the towns / suburbs / whatever just confuse me! I’m used to the Austin area where things are (currently) a little more spread out. It’s growing like crazy here, so I’m not sure how long it will stay like that. Anyway, back to Dallas: Luckily I have some photographer friends in the area who suggested Prather Park as a good location for an engagement session. It’s always fun to shoot in new spots, and I loved this area and the surrounding Highland Park neighborhood!

We started out exploring Prather Park and then finshed up their session by taking a stroll around the neighborhood, which was my favorite part of the morning!
