I just love Salado Senior Portraits! This little town is just so cute, quite and has some GORGEOUS locations! And since it is such a small town, they are all within about a two minute drive from one another — it’s perfect!
Natalie has a busy schedule with school and volleyball, so we met early in the morning for her senior session instead of the typical afternoon sessions. I’m actually a big fan of morning sessions! They especially work well for seniors with busy school / extracurricular / work schedules, especially if they have a morning off period! If you can get past waking up before the sun, it’s definitely worth it!
We started Natalie’s Salado senior portraits at Polk Park with the prettiest morning light!! After taking a few photos with the light pouring through the trees, we moved over to an open field area and then down by the creek where her dog, Wrigley, made another appearance. (If you’ve been following along with me for a while, then you know I just love when dogs come along on sessions!) We then went over to the iconic Salado bridge on Main Street. Natalie’s portraits by the cactus are some of my favorites from this session! Some pretty sunshine + cactus make for a fun Texas background! We finished up the last bit of her session at the Salado College Ruins and wrapped up just as it was starting to get warm! Enjoy some of my favorites from Natalie’s session!
