I’m so excited to share some of Steven and Jessica’s San Antonio engagement photos with y’all! I knew when Jessica and I first “met” over FaceTime that we’d get along and be friends in real life. She is so sweet and genuine and creative, and I loved chatting about the creative entrepreneur life with her! Jessica has her own design graphic shop and it is so cute!! She designs and sells printables for calendars, recipe planning, lists, and so many other things through her shop, Jessica Marie Designs. I took a look at it after we talked and my little list-and-organization-loving heart just fell in love with all of it!
Not only does she have good taste in design, but that transfers over to her taste in fashion as well. When I met her and Steven at Canyon Springs Golf Club for their engagement session, Steven walked up in a navy suit and tie and Jessica had on a long-sleeve, floor length lace navy dress. I’m pretty sure the first words out of my mouth (before I even said “hi!”) was, “Oh my goodness, y’all look AMAZING!!” Because THEY DID. Just wait until you see the photos.
Steven and Jessica showed me around the golf club, where they will be getting married in June, and we took some photos by the waterfall, which come this spring, will be their ceremony site! After taking some photos around that part of the grounds, we stopped in this little grassy area where the sun was coming through the trees juuust right and it was GORGEOUS. These are some of my favorite images from their session for sure.
After finishing up at the golf club, we headed further into San Antonio to take some photos around Pearl Brewery and Hotel Emma. It was just a few days after Christmas, so the area was still decorated in Christmas lights and it was so pretty! I also wanted to steal Jessica’s dress and shoes from this portion of the shoot because they were just so cute and classy! Somewhere during the shoot Steven said to Jessica “Have you just found a new best friend?!” And I think he was right – Jessica felt like an immediate friend and it made me even more excited for their wedding this spring!
Enjoy a few of my favorites of their San Antonio engagement photos:
