Out of all of the Canyonwood Ridge weddings I have gotten to photograph over past few the years, Ross and Jamie’s wedding day is the FIRST one I have ever photographed with the ceremony on the terrace! Canyonwood Ridge has a gorgeous indoor chapel, and all of the other weddings I have photographed here were either originally planned to be in the chapel, or weather conditions called for the “Plan B” ceremony option. (And the chapel, by the way, is an amazing Plan B!) All that to say, I was so excited the unpredictable Texas spring weather worked in Ross and Jamie’s favor so they could wedding ceremony of their dreams!

One of my favorite moments from the day was Jamie’s first look with her dad. I could tell Jamie had Mr. Houge wrapped around her little from the first second of talking with him, and Jamie was equally her daddy’s girl. I just love witnessing sweet family relationships! Another favorite moment from the day was when Jamie’s sweet little flower girl put her hands under her chin and gave me THE CUTEST smile during bridesmaids portraits – and she did it all on her own! It was adorable. 

After Ross and Jamie’s sweet ceremony on the terrace, we took some fun wedding party photos and then moved on to some Bride and Groom sunset portraits, which again, are always a favorite of mine! Now without further ado, meet the Stifflemires!
