White Espresso Machine
My siblings gave me this for my birthday, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since! It feels like such a treat to make coffee shop quality drinks every morning. I’ll admit, I haven’t learned how to really use it beyond the point of making shots of espresso, but it does have a frothing feature as well! I don’t really like black, bulky appliances on my kitchen counter top, and this white design is much more inline with my style.
I’ve been using Ruta Maya organic medium roast coffee beans with this espresso machine and they are delicious! I love this Austin-based brand because it has ethical practices and directly supports the Maya farmer cooperatives in Chiapas, Mexico. You can find Ruta Maya coffee beans in both Whole Foods and H-E-B, which makes it even easier to support this ethical brand! This combination along with some honey, oat milk and collagen powder make the perfect iced lattes.
Collapsable Lap Desk
I stumbled upon this lap desk while picking up some office supplies at Target recently and it was a complete impulse buy — and I regret nothing! It caught my eye because of the woodgrain top and the gold collapsable legs, and when I saw it was only $20 it was a done deal. It’s perfect for morning reading and quiet times on my couch or in bed or work-from-home days.
Glasses with Bamboo Lid & Straws
These were gifted to me recently by some friends and I LOVE them! They pair perfectly with making my iced oat milk lattes in the morning. I prefer drinking out of glass instead of plastic and I really like that these glasses come with a lid and straw. The straws are made of glass as well, which is easier to clean than the stainless steel and silicone straws. This kit even comes with straw cleaning brushes!
Concise Theology by J. I. Packer
I’ve had this book for a few months now and am really enjoying it! The first J. I. Packer book I ever read was Knowing God, and it is one of my top favorite and most influential books I’ve read. In Concise Theology, Packer takes different Christian theological truths and breaks them down in easy to understand 2-3 page summaries. It’s easy to read as a devotional-style book or as a reference source if you’re looking to better understand a specific topic. And as a complete bonus: It’s a really pretty book! I don’t usually love book sleeves, but I really like the design of this one. Underneath it’s a solid navy hardcover with gold foil debossing on the spine, making it pretty to display on a bookshelf or coffee tablel. This book makes a great gift as well!
Jervis Campbell on Spotify
I came across Jervis Campbell when Spotify recommended one of his songs and have been listening to him on repeat for a few months now! I really enjoy his music and lyrics and he has a really unique voice that is easy to listen to. Some of my favorite songs include Praise Him Forever, Hold Me Together and Find You.
