This engagement session out in Valley Mills, Texas was so fun! I love getting to shoot in new locations, and this little Texas town is just the cutest.

Regan and I are friends from college, and I was so excited for her when I saw she got engaged, and then so honored when she asked me to shoot her wedding! The engagement session is the first time I got to meet Drew, and they are absolutely perfect for each other. I could tell that he adores her within just the first few minutes – and even more so for how he didn’t complain at all about taking photos out in the heat! Such a trooper. Haha

We started off their session taking some photos around the little downtown area in Valley Mills. I LOVED it! And since it’s such a tiny town, we didn’t have to worry one bit about having a random person in the background, or waiting to cross the street – it was great! After that we headed out to Regan’s family’s ranch and took some photos down by a creek and in the field. I didn’t really have any idea of what to expect, and when we got down to the water I was most definitely not disappointed! We timed it just right and the light was making the prettiest reflection of the trees on the water. It was GORGEOUS! These are definitely some of my favorite photos from the session. 🙂 After spending time with these two, I can’t wait for their wedding at Hidden Waters Wedding and Event Venue this coming December!
