Vista West Ranch Wedding Photos | Dripping Springs, TX | Tyler & Ariel

This Vista West Ranch wedding day easily goes down as one of my favorites! Tyler and Ariel are such a genuine and joyful couple, and their day was absolutely perfect. They are both so kind, laid back and easy going, and made my day photographing them and their families a DREAM. I have days where I get into my car to drive home after weddings and think, “I can’t believe this is actually my job”, and Tyler and Ariel’s wedding day was one of them!

One of my favorite details about Tyler and Ariel’s story is that he proposed to her with a wooden ring that he CARVED HIMSELF. I remember them telling me their story when meeting for coffee last winter and I was so impressed with the care and intention Tyler has not only toward Ariel, but in everything he does! ( I found out that he was awarded “Marine of the Year” during the reception toasts, and thought “of course he was!”) After being around these two for even just a little bit, I could tell that Ariel was Tyler’s biggest fan and supporter. They complement each other perfectly, and I was so happy to celebrate with them on their wedding day.

Their ceremony took place outside on the lawn and we had the prettiest sunshine! After some fun wedding party and Husband & Wife portraits, we joined everyone inside for some of the bests toast speeches I’ve ever heard and the sweetest first dances. Tyler and Ariel and I snuck out for a few minutes of sunset portraits during the reception and then joined back in with their family and friends for a few more dances before the sparkler exit.
