Sam and Jana’s Addison Grove wedding had a first for me: Shooting in sleet! That’s not a normal thing here in Texas, but I am so thankful for couples like these two who are just so happy to be getting married that a little bit of dreary weather didn’t put a damper on their day one bit! It was SO cold during all the portrait times, but Jana was such a trooper and that big genuine smile never left her face!! It’s always such a gift when my clients wholeheartedly trust me that a little bit of time spent out in the freezing cold will be worth it to have images they can cherish forever.

Jana and I worked at a summer camp called Pine Cove together in college and reconnected a few years ago when she moved back to the Austin area. It has been so much fun hearing about her relationship with Sam and being alongside the two of them to celebrate this special day!
