Ethical Gift Guide 2021

Welcome to my Ethical Gift Guide for 2021! If you’ve been following along with me for a bit, then it is no surprise that I am a huge advocate for supporting ethical brands. I have gotten to see first hand the impacts that fair wages and ethical employment can have in the lives of individuals, their families and their communities, and it is life-changing for generations!

I also aim to be very intentional with gifts, so I thought I would put together some of my favorite ethical gift ideas to share with y’all this Christmas season! It’s already meaningful to receive gifts, but it’s even BETTER when it helps support makers and artisans around the world! Here’s a mix of various ethical gift ideas at affordable price points:

ETHICAL GIFT GUIDE 2021

STACKABLE RINGS

I’ve lately gotten on a huge kick with dainty, stackable rings. These are from ABLE, an ethical company based in Nashville that empowers women with dignified employment locally and globally. These styles are a few of my favorites, and they have even more options on their site. I love that some of the styles can be customized with personal messages, initials or monograms!

COZY THINGS

I LOVE all things cozy! I’ve been eyeing this waffle robe from Boll & Branch for a while now and recently got it — it is perfect! Just the right weight, size, everything. I also love a good blanket! This one from Parker Clay comes in a few different colors is a lightweight cotton weave, so it can be used as a beach towel or picnic blanket as well.

PRETTY COASTERS

A multi-purpose gift: pretty to display on a coffee table, functional, and a fun conversation starter to share about an ethical brand!

HANDCRAFTED FRAMES

Framed photos are already meaningful (a shameless “print your memories!” plug over here), but you can make them even more meaningful through supporting global artisans. The herringbone and triangle bone pattern ones from The Little Market are my favorites and made by artisans in India!

NECKLACES

Another set of pretty and customizable jewelry options from ABLE! I picked a mix of items that are classic and can be personalized, but you can click through to see even more styles on their website.

POUCHES + TRAVEL ORGANIZATION

I love me some organization and a good catch-all pouch! These leather ones from Parker Clay come in two different sizes, black or cognac leather, and can be personalized with adding a monogram!

(This monogrammed cosmetic pouch from Mark & Graham would make a great bridesmaid gift as well!)

KEEPSAKE BOXES + TRAYS

I was gifted the white ceramic keepsake box from The Little Market a few years ago for Christmas, it I keep it on my nightstand to collect jewelry and other keepsakes. I also love anything marble + gold, so this tray from West Elm was an easy addition to the list!
