I have been wanting to shoot at the Georgetown Sunken Gardens for a while now! I’ve been antsy for spring because: 1) Winter is just not my favorite. I’m not a fan of the cold! And 2) I LOVE everything about spring: warm weather, sunshine, the smell, flowers. My little photographer heart was overjoyed when I went by to check out the garden last week and it was all in bloom! Also, it rained A TON last week, so the flowers were all fresh and dewy on Saturday morning for Bryan and Wenzie’s engagement session.

Wenzie contacted me a while back about taking engagement photos of her and Bryan. I’m always curious how people find me, so I asked her and she told me Instagram – which is so fun! But of course, I wanted to know a little more, so I asked if she was searching a certain hashtag or something, and what she said really surprised me: She was adding a location to an Instagram post and when opening up the search my business name popped up, and it wasn’t even that close to my business address. How crazy is that? Thanks, Instagram! 🙂

Anyway, back to hers and Bryan’s engagement session: I met the two of them at the Sunken Gardens to start off, and the colors and freshness of the flowers in combination with the early morning light was perfect! After taking photos around the garden, we went out to Berry Springs Park and took a few more. These two are the sweetest couple, and Wenzie has the most genuine laugh and smile when she is around Bryan! Keep scrolling to see for yourself. 🙂
