Where to even start with these two! This is one of my favorite weddings to-date, and it was also my first time shooting at Barr Mansion (which is a new favorite as well)!
Sarah and I met about two years ago while working for the same company. We quickly became friends over conversations about her Etsy shop, Chalkfulloflove, and my photography business, and the craziness of having a day job and pursuing our dream jobs! I met Aaron shortly after and was thrilled to receive a text message from Sarah with her engagement ring while they were on vacation – and even MORE thrilled when she asked me to be their wedding photographer! I love getting to photograph friend’s weddings. 🙂
Now on to their wedding day: One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is the conversations I get to have with both the Bride and the Groom before the ceremony. It’s so fun to chat with each of them and to join in on the excitement for the day! I bounced back-and-forth between the two taking photos before the ceremony out on the lawn. The weather that day could not have been more perfect! Texas in the springtime is my favorite.
Their Bride & Groom portraits were most definitely the highlight of the day for me! The spring weather and light + the beautiful Barr Mansion + Sarah and Aaron = PERFECTION. You’ll see what I mean when you scroll through!
Here are some of my favorites from the day:
(YES – that was their REAL kiss! Nailed it.)
How fun is this mobile photobooth?! I most definitely hopped in there… a few times! 🙂
