There are SO MANY things I love about this engagement session! Spencer and Chelsea are such a sweet couple and complete naturals in front of the camera (you’ll see for yourself here in a second). Spencer, Chelsea are all UMHB Alumni, and I was so excited when they asked me to be their wedding photographer! After shooting their engagement session, I absolutely cannot wait for their October wedding at Gabriel Springs Event Center!
After recently browsing around the small Texas town of Salado, I knew right away that it would be a perfect location for their session. We started out at one of the old buildings along Main Street and then moved up the road to the Salado College Park. I never even knew this place was there, but a local shop owner told me about it and it is AMAZING! It’s a park that was built around the remaining ruins of a historic college that burned down in the early 1900’s. These are definitely some of my favorite images from the session!
After taking a stroll around the park, we headed down to Salado Creek. For those of you who have never heard of Salado: it’s a tiny little town! In addition to having a ton of pretty locations, there’s almost NO traffic, which made walking down the middle of the road for a few shots super easy – and safe! After taking a few shots along the road and fence, we finished up the session down by Salado Creek.
It was SO HARD to narrow down images for this post, so enjoy scrolling through a few of my favorites!
