First of all: My family is the absolute BEST!! And I’m always one for making sure we get a “good family photo” for holidays and milestones. The past couple of years at Thanksgiving I’ve set up my camera on a tripod in the backyard and told my family to be ready at a specific time (and about 30 minutes after that, we actually take the photos). 🙂
This year, after getting everything set up with my remote in hand, we had a little bit of trouble timing things just right – mostly because we figured out that the battery in my remote was weak and only worked from a short distance away… oops. Anyway, here are a few of the fun outtakes behind that “perfect family photo” posted on Instagram a few days ago, enjoy!
Take 1:
Thought we had a few seconds… apparently not!
And take 2:

Take 9:
And a goofy one, of course.
And take 10:
FINALLY, the perfect one we all posted all over Instagram and Facebook!
And then I grabbed my camera and we all got inside right before the rain started back up! Mission accomplished. 🙂
